This forecast includes a theme and mood board, color palette, textiles/patterns, and a shopping list for what we believe will be on trend during the Spring/Summer 2026 season.
Based on current events, attitudes, ideals, technology and social groups, I chose to focus my forecast on the increasing popularity and use of psychedelics to increase creativity. While doing research on the history of psychedelics, I was inspired by surreal art and the fashion of Woodstock 1969. I defined this theme using bright but wearable colors, lightweight materials, and 70's inspired patterns.
